At an opening ceremony at the State Key Laboratory of Traction Power at Southwest Jiaotong University in Chengdo, it was disclosed that the high-temperature superconducting magnetic levitation technology has self-suspension, self-guidance and self-stability characteristics, which is suitable for future vacuum tube transportation. and a theoretical speed higher than 1000 km/h under low vacuum. The prototype car which was presented had an all carbon fiber lightweight body and a low resistance head, and a design speed of 620 km/h in the atmospheric environment of land transportation.
