China Aerospace Science and Industry Corp (CASIC) has delivered agile, non-powered exoskeletons to a client who plans to use them for tasks in high-altitude regions, including patrol, transportation of goods and logistics support. The carbon-fiber exoskeleton weighs about 4 kilograms only and does not contain any plastic. It is very durable and suited for usages in high-altitude and mountainous regions at extreme cold and wear-and-tear situations. It is said to be put on in less than a minute, put off in 10 seconds, and easy to use for walking, leaping and running. Currently price is given at less than 50,000 CN¥ 6,400 €.
