Zhongfu Shenying Carbon Fiber Xining Co., Ltd., located in Xining, Qinghai, has announced to have produced a cumulative total of over 70,000 tons of high-performance carbon fiber in the five years since operations began.

Carbon fiber is a high-tech material with a diameter of 5–7 micrometers and a carbon content exceeding 90%. While its specific gravity is less than one-quarter that of steel, its strength is 7 to 10 times greater. Possessing excellent properties such as light weight, high strength, high modulus, and resistance to extreme temperatures, corrosion, and fatigue, it is known as the “King of New Materials”

On September 8, 2021, the company began operations. The facility employs proprietary core technology for dry-jet wet spinning, and the localization rate for the project’s key equipment exceeds 95%. It is capable of mass-producing mainstream high-end products, including the T700, T800, T1000, and M series.

The products are widely used in sectors such as wind power equipment, hydrogen energy storage and transport, new energy vehicles, aerospace, advanced machinery, and robotics. The company maintains a market share of approximately 50% in China’s high-end market and exports large quantities to countries including Italy, Germany, and France.
