At the main forum of the 2026 World Robot Conference in Beijin, a “Global Robot Application Exploration Initiative” was announced.

This initiative, jointly launched by the World Robot Cooperation Organization and the Chinese Institute of Electronics, aims to advance pilot testing and implementation of robots across various application scenarios worldwide. It seeks to solicit application needs from around the globe in collaboration with international industry associations, research institutions, and enterprises.

Under the initiative, 1,000 application scenarios will be selected annually from among international industry associations, research institutions, and enterprises for complimentary robot trials and secondary development. The program aims to accelerate the transformation of technological achievements into industrial value and practical application, while leveraging feedback from real-world settings to refine and optimize products. This process is designed to mutually drive the practical application of technology and the expansion of use cases, ultimately building an open, win-win global innovation ecosystem for the robotics industry.
