A 24-hour unmanned coffee shop of Qixian Coffee, a craft drink brand affiliated with Jingdong Group, opened on August 16, 2026, at the Galaxy SOHO commercial complex in Beijing. Robots handle every step of the coffee beverage production process, from grinding the beans to extraction, preparation, and serving.

Once an order is received, the store’s fully automated production line produces the coffee and transports the product to the pick-up counter. An embodied AI robot waiting there grabs the coffee and carries it to the pick-up locker.

Each cup of coffee can be produced in as little as 20 seconds and served within 30 seconds. The entire production line can produce up to 7 to 8 cups at the same time. When a consumer orders through a self-ordering system, a large smart display in the store shows the entire process of making a cup of coffee in real time, from setting the cup, adding ice, and preparing the coffee to storing it in the pick-up locker. Before ordering, customers can freely adjust the sweetness, coffee strength, juice strength, etc., and can set it in detail from 1% to 100%.
