  • In Panyu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, it is possible to book a helicopter using a smartphone mini-program and ride this “flying taxi” to Shenzhen in 30 minutes.
  • At the Tangjiawan Port drone logistics hub in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, many drones take off loaded with fresh seafood and deliver it directly to Guangzhou, about 100 kilometers away, in just 55 minutes.

In the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (an urban cluster comprised of nine cities—Guangzhou, Foshan, ZhaoqingShenzhen, Dongguan, Huizhou, Zhuhai, Zhongshan, and Jiangmen—and the Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Regions), the allocation of time and space, production, and lifestyles are being restructured by the “low-altitude economy,” an economic model based on low-altitude flight activities. The “one-hour living area” is expanding exponentially towards the sky.
