The “Gobi Farmland” in Shannan, Gobi Desert, which became famous for successfully cultivating cherry tomatoes in the Gobi Desert, is now also cultivating and selling blueberries, which have extremely high soil requirements. In July 2024, the company applied industrialization and smart technologies such as IoT remote control and digital sensing. By combining plant protection and water-fertilizer integrated irrigation systems, precise fertilization and irrigation are possible, and automatic operation can always keep the parameters required for blueberries, such as temperature, humidity, water and fertilizer, at optimal levels. The blueberry cultivation area in Gobi countryside is currently about 13.3 hectares.
