 The Giant Panda National Park was established in 2021 as one of the first five national parks established in China. It has a total area of ​​21,978 square kilometers and spans three provinces: Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu. There are 1,340 wild pandas living in the national park, accounting for about 72% of China’s total land area. The habitat area is 15,000 square kilometers, accounting for about 58.5% of China’s total land area. The national park is rich in wild animal and plant resources, with 870 species of vertebrates and 7,127 species of higher plants, making it a global biodiversity hotspot.

France’s Pyrenees National Park is the third national park in the country and was established in 1967. It covers a vast area of ​​100 km along the border between France and Spain, spanning six valleys, two prefectures and two regions. It is rich in biological species, with approximately 2,500 species of higher plants and more than 4,000 species of animals, including 250 species of vertebrates and more than 100 species of plants endemic to the Pyrenees.
