The Ministry of Education of China has released new Guidelines for Science Education Activities in Primary and Secondary Schools.

The guidelines call for schools to focus on strengthening science education by, e. g., by making effective use of high-quality science education resources, and strengthening science education in lesson plans.

According to the guidelines, vice principals for science will be appointed in each school.
