China Huaden’s 1200 Nm3/h (normal cubic meter per hour) alkaline electrolyzer was shown in Tianjin on July 12.
Compared to conventional electrolyzers, the current density of the new electrolyzer is about 30% higher, and the overall weight is nearly 10% lighter. The DC energy consumption index is 4.6 kWh per standard cubic meter of hydrogen, and the rated hydrogen production capacity of the electrolyzer at an operating pressure of 1.6 MPa is 1200 Nm3/h. The welding process is the first of its kind in China.
HuaDian Science and Technology as the main player in the development of the hydrogen energy industry by China HuaDian established the China HuaDian Hydrogen Energy Technology Research Center on July 7, 2020.
