According to the China Internet Development Report 2018 of the Chinese Internet Association, over 700 million people living in China used the internet on average 27 times a week. Livestreams were used 980 million times. The Chinese Internet market last year rose by 32.2 percent to 7 trillion yuan. There were close to 600 million online payments by mobile phone.
