Group at CAS Institute of Chemistry controls cell adhesion by new interface based on fractal silico coating

The group of Shutao WANG at CAS Institute of Chemistry has used the impregnation of glass surfaces with nanodendritic silica materials to generate a cell gradient depending on their speed of growth. The method can be used to make cells adhere or detach from surfaces.
