With China’s space exploration program getting more and more active, China can also regain lost territory in astronomical names. Thus, the landing site of the China’s first moon lander Chang’e-3 has now been officially named by the International Astronomical Union „Guang Han Gong“ or Moon Palace, and five asteroids have been named after top Chinese scientists, including asteroid No. 31230 which now bears the name of the first Chinese Nobel laureate, Mrs TU Youyou.
