The Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing Yizhuang) is currently developing a comprehensive “token economy” industrial chain. Initiatives include constructing Beijing’s first token factory, planning a token distribution and scheduling hub, and establishing the city’s first OPC (One Person Company) community.
Recently, Beijing Yizhuang completed the city’s first token factory, the “Beijing No. 1 Token Factory.” By fostering the deep integration of energy, semiconductor chips, datasets, and foundation models—and basing operations on energy intensity metrics—the facility has achieved significant improvements in token generation efficiency and system stability.
In the first phase of the Beijing No. 1 Token Factory project, 1.4 trillion tokens are generated daily; half of all tasks are delivered within six seconds, 90% of tasks have a response time of under ten seconds, and performance fluctuations are kept within 20%. Moving forward, the token factory plans to collaborate with green power hubs in places like Zhangjiakou (Hebei Province) and Ulanqab (Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region) to form an integrated Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei computing power cluster, working toward the long-term goal of generating 10 trillion tokens per day.
The “Modu OPC Community”—Beijing Yizhuang’s first OPC community—has also been completed and is now operational. The community has received a total of 544 tenant applications; the occupancy rate for the first phase has already reached 100%, and construction on the second phase is underway. Furthermore, the scope extends to diverse fields such as AIGC (AI-generated content) images and videos, smart hardware, and AI agent development, creating a closed-loop industrial ecosystem.
