China’s first AI data analysis platform for new energy storage began operation. Based on AI autonomous learning and analysis of vast amounts of data, it can remotely and in real time detect malfunctions and potential risks in the equipment, automatically generate operation and maintenance plans, and respond quickly.
Currently, the platform is connected to eight new energy storage power plants, covering regions such as Guangdong, Yunnan, and Hainan provinces, with over 2.3 million data collection points. After one year of trial operation, the equipment failure rate at the eight power plants decreased by 34%, new energy consumption increased by approximately 30%, and the system’s adjustment capabilities significantly improved.
According to a technical expert at Southern Power Grid Energy Storage Testing and Inspection Branch, the platform possesses intelligent analytical capabilities for more than 100 large-scale energy storage power plants and has built high-quality datasets for lithium batteries, sodium batteries, and other types of batteries.
