China’s Hubei Donghu Laboratory used magnetic levitation technology and electromagnetic propulsion to accelerate a 1,110kg high-speed model train to 800kmh in just 5.3 seconds at its 1-Kilometer High-Speed ​​Magnetic Levitation Test Track,  developed by the Donghu Laboratory’s High-Speed ​​Magnetic Levitation and Electromagnetic Propulsion Technology Innovation Center. After a month of continuous testing the platform’s speed control and high-speed levitation stability, all indicators met the design requirements.
