According to Zhang Yunming, deputy minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, technological innovation in the development of 6G has accelerated, and positive progress has been made in all fields. On the one hand, innovation capabilities have been continuously strengthened, and research on 6G system design, network architecture, key technologies and other areas has been systematically promoted, accumulating more than 300 key 6G technologies.

On the other hand, an open ecosystem has been basically established, fully playing its role as the industrial platform of the IMT-2030 (6G) promotion group, bringing together more than 100 companies from both upstream and downstream of the domestic and international industrial chain to jointly promote the innovative development of 6G.

In addition, with the full participation of major global telecommunications equipment companies, the first phase of 6G technology testing has been completed, and a research and development and verification system integrating technology development, test verification, iteration and optimization has been established.
