The first split-type flying car of Xiao Peng Huitian’s “Land Aircraft Carrier” took off in Changde, Hunan Province

The vehicle is the latest generation of split-type flying car and composed of a ground running unit and a flight unit. The ground running unit adopts a three-axis, six-wheel design, achieving 6×6 all-wheel drive and rear-wheel steering. The main structure and rotor of the flight unit are made of carbon fiber material, which combines high strength and light weight. The 270-degree panoramic cabin ensures users a wide field of vision.

The ground vehicle unit is about 5.5 meters long, and both its width and height are about 2 meters. It can enter and exit underground parking lots and can be parked in standard parking spaces. Anyone with a Chinese small vehicle driver’s license can drive it. A pilot’s license is required to operate the flight unit. In simple terms, this product can be said to be a car with a flight unit mounted in the rear trunk.

The company is currently building a smart manufacturing base for flying cars, where the flight unit of the vehicle will be produced. The annual production capacity is planned to be 10,000 units, and it is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of this year. Mass production and delivery of the split flying car is expected to begin in 2026.
