According to the China’s National Energy Administration, by the end of February 2025 China’s cumulative installed power generation capacity was 3.4 billion kilowatts (kW), up 14.5% from the same period last year.

• the installed capacity of solar power generation was 930 million kW, an increase of 42.9%
• the installed capacity of wind power generation was 530 million kW, an increase of 17.6%

Investments into power grid projects increased by 33.5%.
