By the end of 2024, China’s total installed power generation capacity reached about 3.32 billion kW, and power generation reached 10 trillion kWh, up 5.7% from 2023. The construction of new power systems is accelerating. More than 60 million kW of new energy storage facilities have been completed. More than 12 million charging infrastructure have been completed, and more than 95% of highway service areas have charging capabilities. New wind and solar power generation capacity of about 200 million kW per year will be installed.
