Three major scientific and technological facilities in the fields of information, the life sciences and new materials were put into use in Guangming Science City in south China’s high-tech hub of Shenzhen.
The facilities focus on synthetic biology research, brain analysis and brain simulation, and material genomics.
As a key area supporting the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as it builds itself into an international innovation center, Guangming Science City has planned to build 24 sci-tech innovation entities, including large scientific facilities and cutting-edge, cross-research platforms.
