40 g of rice seed paddy was mounted on Chang’e 5 and landed on the moon in November 2020. Approximately 23 days later, after a “moon orbit trip” of 760,000 kilometers, it was returned to the National Plant Space Breeding Project Technology Research Center of South China Agricultural University and cultivated. This rice will be harvested at the end of June, and then the next generation will be sown.
