On March 8, the Chinese version of the “International Travel Health Certificate” WeChat app was officially launched, and Chinese citizens are welcome to use it. This app can display the holder’s nucleic acid tests (COVID-19) and serum IgG antibody test results and vaccination status, etc. The health certificate contains an encrypted QR code for the relevant authorities in each country to verify the authenticity and read the information about the individual. In addition to the electronic display, a paper version can be printed.
