Beijing is testing 4 autonomous road cleaners for ther cleaning of road surfaces, sidewalks, and parks, and 3 for the cleaning of shopping centers, railway and airport facilities. The upper part of the electrically-driven cleaning trucks are made of new materials such as lightweight aluminum alloy, the vehicle is maximally weight-reduced. After 2-3 hours of charge, travelable distance is 90 km and the vehicle can work for 6 hours. Each car substitutes for about 10 – 20 workers.
