CAS QIBEBT: Perovskite thin film coatings can be healed by gas-phase methylamine treatment at ambient temperature

In the preparation of uniform crystalline thin-films from perovskite used in solar cells, the group around Shuping PANG at CAS QIBEBT found that methylamine gas at ambient temperature is able to reconstruct defects in the perovskite crystal structure of the thin film within seconds. The investigations are done jointly with Weihua Solar in Xiamen and have been patented.
