Sheep have been diffused to China via the ancient Silk Road

Using mitochondrial DNA analysis of over 200 local breeds of sheep on various places along the Eurasian continent, the gorup of Menghua LI at CAS Institute of Zoology supported by an international team of researchers could prove that the seep diffused from the Eastern part of the Eurasian continent along the ancient Silk Road to Mongolia and China
