CAS Institute of Process Engineering, Beijing, develops improved process for bioethanol dehydration

The process is based on Mg2+ ion hydration in a vapor-liquid equilibrium. Through computational simulation of new technology, compared to the molecular sieve method, is expected to reduce energy consumption by about 30%.
