CAS Chengdu Institute of Biology improves fuel ethanol production from sweet potato tubers

The improvement is based on a new type of depolymerizing enzyme mixture described in patent ZL 201210234738.5which greatly reduces the viscosity of a raw potato mesh, enhancing the degradation of starch and the process economics.
