CAS Wuhan Botanical Garden: metabolic engineering of yeast for amorphadine overproduction

Using methods of flux analysis, S. cerevisiae variants were engineered which reached an up to 10fold overproduction of the terpene model compound amorphadiene. Corresponding authors are WANG Yong and ZHANG Yangsheng at the Key Laboratory for Plant Germplasm Improvement and Specialty Agriculture.
