CAS Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics isolates antihypertensive peptides from deer

Gansu is China’s largest region for deer breeding. Deer peptides were found to lower blood pressure and have anti-fatigue effects. A process was developed to extract these peptides in high yields, enabling daily processing of 100 kg deer (blood?).
