CAS Institute of Process Engineering develops gigaporous PEI resins for high-throughput protein separations

The group of Guanghui MA used PEI and PGMA-DVB gigaporous polymers of 300 – 500 nm pore size for the separation of proteins such as bovine serum albumen. Protein recovery was > 90 %, and, after tuning NaCl concentration, flow rate was over 1 m/hr.
