Group at CAS Institute of Zoology, Kunming, detects skin repair peptide in salamander

The researcheers around LAI Ren found that tylotoin, a dodecapeptide KCVRQNNKRVCK from the crocodile newt (Tylototriton kweichowensis) exhibits strong wound healing activity in mouse full-thickness skin lesions, promoting keratinocyte proliferation and fibroblast migration.
