CAS Kunming Institute of Zoology team identifies lincRNAs in pigs which may be related to domestication

By identifying genomewide long intergenic noncoding RNA genes from 93 animals and studying their transcripts, a group around Yaping ZHANG CAS Kunming Institute of Zoology obtained evidence for differential expression in domesticated pigs and wild boars was obtained which may be related to domestication and may proof useful for breeding.
