CAS QIBEBT and Qingdao Advanced Energy Storage Center co-develop powerful Li ion capacitor

Based on a vanadium redox couple, a graphite nanocomposite sheet material nad LiTFSI as electrolyte, a capacitor was developed which had an energy density of 30 Wh/kg and showed a capacity retention rate of 89 % after 1000 cycles.
