CAS Ningbo Institute of Material Technology develops water-soluble copper nanoparticles, many applications

The technology is based on the reduction of Cu2+ particles in the presence of dopamine. The resulting nanoparticles are stable over 6 months and can be applied in lubricants, catalysts, electronic materials, optical devices and inkjet fluids.
