Bayer AG celebrates 150 years anniversary, long connections to China

Bayer started trading dyestuffs to China in 1882 and formed its first Chinese company in Shanghai in 1913. In 1989, Bayer became the first Western company to set up joint ventures related to China’s agriculture. At present, Bayer has 24 companies in the Greater China region, 12 production facilities and 13000 employees.
