CAS Shanghai Institutes develop more sensitive acetylcholine esterases based on yeast surface display for food control

A team around Professor Hui WANG used Drosophila AChE and a yeast surface display method to enhance sensitivity of this enzyme towards organophosphorous and carbamate pesticides occuring in food. The study was supported by the Ministry of Health, Beijing.
