Beijing Genomics Institute, a leading global DNA sequencing institution, has established a partnership with Bogazici Univeristy, Acibadem University, and Cankiri Karatekin University in Turkey. Under the MoU, BGI and Bogazici Univeristy will collaborate on human genetics, plant and animal genomics and related genetics research. BGI and Acibadem University signed the agreement to collaborate on medical research and subsequent clinical applications for better improving the health of people. At the ceremony, BGI and Cankiri Karatekin University also jointly initiated an International Olive genome project.
