Over 1,4 million Chinese enrolled in Chinese Bone Marrow Bank, a subsidiary of Chinese Red Cross

According to Mr HONG Junling, Manager at the Chinese Bone Marrow Bank Management Center, a subsidiary of the China Red Cross, about 1,48 million Chinese have alredy registered as donors to the Chinese Bone Marrow Bank, allowing supply of hematopoietic stem cells to over 2700 persons. China plans to join the World Bone Marrow Bank in the future to offer hematopoietic tell cells to leukemia patients with appropriate genetic pattern.
