At the 17th China International Modern Railway Technology Equipment Exhibition at the Beijing National Convention Center a 1/160 scale model of the new “Fuxing” series train “CR450” was shown. The “CR450” has been undergoing a series of tests for about half a year, and has recorded a test speed of 450km/h. This means that the technical room has been secured for future commercial operation at 400km/h.

While the speed has increased, braking distance, noise during operation, energy consumption and other indicators have all remained at the previous level of 350 kilometers per hour, indicating that high-speed railway technology has evolved to another level.
